The In-The-Canal or ITC style offers a slightly smaller case then a full shell ITE and is best suited for moderate or mild losses.  While T-coils can be added, the size limitations generally mean the T-coil does not perform well enough to reliably couple with a neck loop.  Like all ITE hearing aids, ITC's are not generally recommended for children.
