Hearing and Language Milestones

Children who are exposed to language from birth develop language at approximately the same rate regardless of specific language or their hearing ability. If your child appears to be a full step behind the guidelines described at the left, we urge you to seek an evaluation by an Otolaryngologist, Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist. The key to early and effective intervention and rehabilitation is early detection.
