Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf- www.agbell.org International organization promoting the use of residual hearing and speech to educate deaf and hard of hearing children.

American Academy of Audiology- www.audiology.org A professional group of audiologists.

American Speech-Language Hearing Association- ww.asha.org The credentialling organization for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists in the United States.  Certified members are granted the Certificate of Clinical Competence in either Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Audiology (CCC-A).

American Society for the Deaf Child- www.deafchildren.org A group of parents and professionals who support and encourage the use of American Sign Language and Deaf Culture in the education of deaf and hard of hearing children.

Auditory Verbal International- The official organization for disseminating information about the Auditory Verbal approach.

Educational Audiology Association - www.eaa.org A group of audiologists specializing in the educational ramifications of hearing loss in children.

National Association of the Deaf- www.nad.org The American political organization of culturally Deaf individuals. NAD promotes the use of ASL.

National Cued Speech Association- The organization responsible for disseminating information about Cued Speech, as well as training and certifying Cued Speech transliterators and instructors.

Self Help for Hard of Hearing People, Inc.- www.shhh.org A group of hard of hearing individuals who promote independence and empowerment of persons with hearing loss.
