Children of this age can now reliably participate in their own hearing test!  Using a method called Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) your child weill learn that turning their head toward a sound will trigger the movement of a toy (usually a clown or animal).  Like BOA, two testers are used in most cases.   VRA results have been found to be very reliable and repeatable.  The animation on the right demonstrates how VRA looks from the tester's viewpoint.
